25 years ago Rita Hunter, director of Feis Rois set up Kiltearn Traditional Music classes in Evanton Primary School to encourage Traditional Music in Ross-shire. From the Traditional Fiddle Class, Feis Rois Tutor Alpha Munro initiated a youth group 'Kiltearn Fiddlers' to improve performing expertise and confidence as well as to inspire further Traditional music in the area.
